How To Join Carmel Swim Club
We are dedicated to helping swimmers of all abilities find their place in our organization. For that reason, joining us is a straightforward process.
The first step is to be placed into one of our training groups. All placements are aligned with stated training group standards and done at our coaches’ discretion, with your long-term growth in mind. We have an upcoming evaluation on Monday, July 28 for any swimmer entering kindergarten or older. See details and pre-register here.
Once we’ve determined your group, you can register for the club on our website. After your registration is approved, the real fun begins!
New Athletes And Swim Evaluations
If you are new to Carmel Swim Club and have not previously been on a USA Swimming team, we recommend you start with one of our Carmel Swim Academy programs. Your instructor will let you know when you are ready to join the club. If you have questions about where your swimmer should start, please contact our Director of 10 & Under Development, Julie Cardona. Julie helps facilitate transitions to CSC for all ages.
If you have previously been on a USA Swimming team and want to join Carmel Swim Club, your placement at Carmel Swim Club will be determined by our coaches.

Training groups
Our goal is to help you build a love of swimming for life, which is why we built our training groups around each athlete’s long-term success. Each group has different performance requirements, competition expectations, and technical requirements that align with the age and experience of our athletes.
All swim group placements are done at our coaching staff’s discretion. Our coaches are some of the best in the country and their primary focus is to place you on the team that will be the best for your long-term growth.
Registration Information
Once you have been placed in a training group, the next step is to register for the club. Carmel Swim Club utilizes an online registration and payment system to keep the process simple for both new and returning athletes.
Once your registration is approved, you will get access to a personal account where you can update contact information, declare for swim meets, pay your fees, see your times, and more. It’s also where athletes, parents, and other supporters can sign up for team support jobs.
After completing registration, you will receive a link to register with USA Swimming. To be a member with Carmel Swim Club, you must also be a member of USA Swimming.
Cost To Join And Scholarships
The cost to join the team depends on your group placement and the number of swim meets you choose to attend. Registration is due at sign-up, and annual dues are divided into 11 monthly payments.
Our fee structure supports high-quality, full-time staff and USA Swimming membership benefits. We offset the costs of running a world-class swim club through the support of team supporters and the active involvement of parents and family members at club-hosted meets.
We offer reduced fees and scholarships for athletes in the free/reduced lunch program or families enrolled in county utility assistance programs.
