16 Carmel Swim Club Athletes Named 2023-24 USA Swimming Scholastic All-Americans
We are proud to announce that 16 CSC athletes were recognized as Scholastic All-Americans by USA Swimming for the 2023-24 school year! Please join us in congratulating the following swimmers on this honor:

- Michael Gorey
- Carter Hadley
- Cory Han
- Anderson Kopp
- Aubrey Simmons
- Alyssa Street
- Molly Sweeney
- Carson Szotek
- Lexie Ward
- Ethan Zhang
- Lewis Zhang
- Yi Zheng
These athletes earned at least a 3.5 grade point average, while swimming a time equal to or faster than a 2023 Winter Junior Nationals individual time standard. Since this program was introduced, 100 unique CSC athletes have earned this honor 182 times! This year's roster is the largest crew of Carmel Swim Club athletes to receive Scholastic All-America designation in a given school year, and there are some remarkable highlights to make note of:
- The total of 16 athletes ties CSC for tenth amongst USA Swimming clubs with athletes earning this honor.
- This is the fourth time Alyssa Street has earned Scholastic All-American status. She is one of only 57 athletes out of the 1,790 on the SAA roster to do so, and is only the second Carmel Swim Club athlete to ever do so.
- Three freshmen (Trent Allen, Faith Gorey, and Yi Zheng) achieved this honor.
